Fixed-Blade Wall Louvers

Knape Associates provides support for fixed blade louvers. Our clients are in industrial and commercial industries that require heavy duty fixed louvers and consulting to implement them.

Fixed louvers are blades that do not move, either manually or automatically using electricity. Fixed slats are always at the same angle, typically 60° or 45°, unlike louvers that can be moved.

Fixed blade drainable louvers and Miami-Dade louvers are two types of louvers that are commonly used in building ventilation systems.

Both fixed blade drainable louvers and Miami-Dade louvers allow for air to flow through a building while preventing the entry of unwanted elements such as rain, snow, or debris. They are typically installed in the walls or roofs of buildings and can be used for both intake and exhaust applications.

Fixed blade drainable louvers and Miami-Dade louvers are also designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, such as hurricanes or strong winds. They are constructed with durable materials such as aluminum and are engineered to meet specific building codes and standards for wind resistance and impact resistance.
