Industrial Fiberglass FRP Dampers
We supply industrial FRP dampers for corrosive exhaust and process air. Tell us your chemistry, temperature, and airflow, and we match the resin, blade type, and actuator to it.
We carry several fiberglass damper lines. Before we quote, we check all of them and give you the one that ships soonest.
Our offices are in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, serving Texas and the Gulf Coast, and we ship nationwide.

FRP Damper and Louver Types
We supply four types of FRP dampers and louvers. The table gives the limit of each one, so you can see which fits your duct before you call.
| Type | Max velocity | Max static pressure | Size range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Automatic shutter, gravity backdraft | 2,500 FPM | 1″ W.G. | 12″ x 12″ to 48″ x 48″ |
| Low-velocity center-pivoted damper | 2,500 FPM | 1″ W.G. | 12″ x 12″ to 48″ x 48″ |
| FRP control dampers, opposed or parallel blade | 6,000 FPM | 20″ W.G. | Sized to your opening and pressure |
| FRP fixed blade louvers | 825 FPM | n/a | 12″ x 12″ to 72″ x 72″ |
Every type runs continuously to 200°F. Air leakage and performance ratings come from AMCA 500 testing.
Where FRP Dampers Are Used
We ship FRP dampers to wastewater treatment, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and semiconductor plants.
The common factor is exhaust that corrodes metal.
In these plants the whole exhaust path is FRP, not just the damper. We supply the FRP fans that move the same air, the wastewater treatment ventilation package, and carbon capture dampers for amine service.

| FRP fixed blade louvers | 730 FPM before water enters | 0.08″ W.G. loss | 12″ x 12″ to 72″ x 72″ |
Every type runs continuously to 200°F. Air leakage and performance ratings come from AMCA 500 testing.
A louver never closes, so it holds no pressure. Its number is the loss across the blades. A 6 inch blade raises the water limit to 1,239 FPM.
