Cast Aluminum Pressure Blowers
You need to move air through ductwork filters or process equipment that creates serious resistance. A standard fan cannot generate the pressure. An all steel blower works but it is heavy prone to rust and difficult to install.
Cast aluminum pressure blowers solve this.
They generate the static pressure you need, typically 6 to 40 w.g., while reducing weight by 40% compared to steel. The housing will not corrode in humid or chemical environments. The one-piece cast construction means fewer leak points and less maintenance.

Technical Specifications
Cast aluminum pressure blowers deliver the performance you need for high-resistance systems:
- Airflow: 800 to 5,000 CFM
- Pressure: Up to 20 inches water gauge
- Wheel diameter: 8 to 15 inches
- Temperature range: Up to 200°F (aluminum gains strength in sub-zero conditions)
The housings and wheels use corrosion-resistant aluminum alloys. Steel blowers fail in months when exposed to chemical processing environments, wastewater treatment facilities, or marine atmospheres. Aluminum does not.
Spark-Resistant Construction
These blowers meet AMCA Type B spark-resistant standards. This certification is required for:
- Combustible dust handling
- Grain processing
- Solvent vapor applications
- Any atmosphere where ignition risk exists
The discharge rotates to eight positions for installation flexibility.
Design Features
Split bolted housing separates at the centerline. You access the wheel and bearings without disconnecting ductwork or the motor.
Two wheel options available:
- Radial-bladed wheels: Maximum airflow at moderate pressure
- Backward curved wheels: Higher efficiency, lower noise, reduced power consumption
We work with multiple manufacturers. You get the correct wheel and inlet combination for your pressure curve, not whatever one supplier stocks.
Material Advantages
Aluminum weighs one-third as much as steel. This reduces structural load requirements for rooftop and elevated installations.
Key properties:
- Corrosion resistance: No coating required, no repainting schedule
- Non-toxic: Safe for pharmaceutical and food processing applications
- Non-magnetic: No interference with MRI equipment or precision electronics
- Low maintenance: One-piece cast construction reduces leak points
The natural finish is clean and professional. Anodize, paint, or leave as-cast depending on your facility standards.
